Q&A
Can I still sprain my ankle?
Not in principle, because the brace is anchored in the shoe so that the shoe keeps the foot under control while the remainder of the brace encloses the lower leg. The moment one cannot keep the foot under control and you sprain it anyway, you fall over, as it were. There is maximum inversion and eversion control without limiting the plantar or dorsi flexion.
Can I still put the brace in another shoe?
It is possible to remove the Ultimate Ankle brace and fit it in another shoe. Various Velcro straps are supplied with the brace.
What is the life span of the brace?
It is possible to dismantle the brace completely and replace the various components, which gives the brace an extremely long life.
