Q&A

Why is there a model with fixed and removable shells?

The model with the removable shells is cheaper because one only has to buy the shells once and one can then put them in another pants.
The fixed shells are recommended for patients who find it difficult to carry out delicate movements or for patients who are in a state of dementia because they cannot remove the shells, which increases the risk of falling.

Is it possible to wash the pants?

Yes, both the cotton pants and the safe hip active may be washed in the washing machine. If possible, one should set the rate of rotation as low as possible.

Which model is suited for which patient?

People are different and what they want and need concerning hip protection also differs.
